Wheels on the Bus

Here is a fun game to do after you have done the “Wheels on the Bus” song. You need to make six cards. Each card has a part of a bus. Two front, two middle and two back cards. Divide the students into two teams and have them make two circles. Shuffle the cards and place them face down on the board. Play the song ” wheels on the bus” while each team passes a ball or small toy in a circle. When the music stops, the students holding the ball, Rock, Scissors, Paper to decide who chooses first. The winner chooses a card first, the non-winner chooses next. If a team chooses a part of the bus they already have, that card is turned face down again and may be chosen by the other team. The first team to collect all parts of the bus wins. For 15 minutes of play, I suggest that the first team to collect all three parts of the bus gets one point.Shuffle the cards and play again. The first team to get three points wins.
